1. License grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Cybermoon LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Leylines plugin on machines you control, up to the activation limit shown at purchase. You can deactivate a machine from your account dashboard to free an activation for another machine you control.
Beta licenses. During the beta, Cybermoon LLC also grants beta participants a license to install and use the Leylines plugin at no charge, on the same terms and subject to the same restrictions as the license above, except that no payment is required for it and it is not perpetual: it runs for the beta period and ends when the beta ends. A beta license does not become a perpetual license, and nothing in this agreement states what a license will cost after the beta.
Beta licenses can be withdrawn. Because a beta license is provided at no charge and for testing, Cybermoon LLC may end an individual beta license at any time, and will tell you at the email address the invite was sent to. Ending a beta license stops that license being used to send audio. It does not stop you receiving audio in sessions you are invited to, and it does not affect any license you have paid for.
2. Free receiver mode
The same binary may be used without purchase in receive-only mode. Receiver mode is licensed for use at no charge under this same agreement.
3. Restrictions
- No reverse engineering, decompiling, or circumventing license enforcement, except where law expressly permits.
- No redistribution, rental, or sublicensing of the software.
- No removal of proprietary notices.
4. Ownership
The software is licensed, not sold. Cybermoon LLC retains all rights not expressly granted. Third-party open-source components are governed by their own licenses, listed in the product attribution notices.
5. Updates
A perpetual license includes all updates to the software, with no further payment and no time limit. Cybermoon LLC does not charge for version upgrades. Optional subscription services, such as Leylines Cloud, are separate from the license and are not updates.
6. AS-IS WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of the above may not apply to you; in that case those warranties are limited to the minimum required by law.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CYBERMOON LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of the above may not apply to you.
8. Termination
This license terminates automatically on a material breach that is not cured within 30 days of notice. On termination you must stop using the software.
9. Export & sanctions
You may not use or export the software in violation of applicable export-control or sanctions laws, and you confirm you are not located in an embargoed territory or on a restricted-party list.
10. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, consistent with the Terms of Service. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
