New to Leylines? These four guides take you from a fresh install to your first overnight handoff. Leylines is async, not streaming: it captures your master, ships it to your peers as Opus chunks, and plays their latest mixes back in time on your machine.
Install the plugin
Get Leylines scanned into your DAW: CLAP first, VST3 as the fallback, Windows install paths, and the FL Studio note.
Your first session
Drop it on the master bus, sign in to unlock sending, then host or join: pair with a paste-link today, or LAN on the same Wi-Fi.

Quick start
Once installed, getting a session running takes three steps:
1. Insert Leylines as the last device on your master bus.
2. Settings → Account → sign in (unlocks sending).
3. Invite → Host a session → send a collaborator your paste-link.
They paste it back, and your mix syncs to them in the background.Capture is on by default, so it starts as soon as you press play, and only the parts you actually play get shared. For the full walkthrough see Your first session and Capturing & contributing.
