Windows builds are not code-signed yet. No code-signing certificate is in use during the beta, so SmartScreen warns the first time you open a downloaded executable. That warning is expected. Verifying the SHA-256 below is what actually tells you the file is ours.
macOS builds are not notarized yet. No Apple Developer ID signing or notarization is in use during the beta, so Gatekeeper calls Leylines an unidentified developer the first time you open it. Right-click the plugin or app and choose Open once.

Linux / macOS: sha256sum <file>

If the value does not match, do not run the file. The combined list is also mirrored next to the artifacts, but it is a convenience for sha256sum -c, not a trust anchor.

Running in four steps.

  1. Install and rescan

    Extract the VST3 ZIP into your VST3 plugin folder. For CLAP, extract the Mac bundle or copy the Windows/Linux .clap file into your CLAP folder. Then rescan plugins in your DAW. Leylines appears under Cybermoon.

  2. Drop on the master bus

    Insert it as the last slot on your master. No submix, no routing. It taps post-fader automatically.

  3. Start or join a session

    Create a session to get a share code like quiet-azure-otter, or paste a code a collaborator sent you. LAN peers show up on their own.

  4. Keep working

    Capture and sync run in the background, so you keep working. Through the cloud, open the project tomorrow and the latest render of every bar is already there. Cloud is coming soon.

Windows: extract the whole .vst3 bundle into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3; copy .clap files into C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP.

macOS: extract the whole .vst3 bundle into ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3, or the .clap bundle into ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP. Create the folder if needed, then rescan your DAW.

Linux (x86_64): extract the whole .vst3 bundle into ~/.vst3/, or copy the .clap file into ~/.clap/. Use an up-to-date Ubuntu 22.04 or compatible distribution (glibc 2.35 and GLIBCXX 3.4.30).
